As a former oncology nurse, I have been very privileged to share in the intimacy of my  patients’ last moments in this world. So often people are given a diagnosis of cancer and   immediately arm themselves that it is a death sentence. However, it can be quite the   contrary. It can be used as a powerful medium to learn vital aspects about yourself.   Death should not be viewed as a period, but as a comma. It simply is a continuation on our journey. It serves as an opportunity to reflect back on life and take stock in what really matters.

I have been given the unique opportunity to document touching life experiences of special people who have been given health road blocks. Through my photography, I help them visually capture what is most important to them and provide family members with timeless images of their loved ones. Perhaps your loved one is in their final months and you find yourself having no recent pictures of the two of you together? Perhaps they are in remission and you want to celebrate?
